The motto of the IQAC is to achieve quality through continuous improvement with cooperation of all stake holders. It will channelize and systematize the efforts of the University toward academic excellence.
Vision
The vision of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), established as per AICTE/KTUguidlines, is to work towards continued quality scrutiny, enhancement and sustenance of the academic, academic plus and administrative performance of College of Engineering Pathanapuram with the vision of placing PEC among the quality institutions of higher education in India by 2025.
Mission
• To instill a consistent and progressive system for the quality audit, transformation and maintenance of PEC’s principal stakeholders (namely the students, faculty and staff performance.
• To spearhead institutional policy and process formulations and their periodical reviews and revisions.
• To promote evidence –based innovative practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of the teaching –learning process and the learning experiences of the students
• To design and promote a learner-centric environment for students and staff that fosters the mission and vision of PEC
• To develop an organizational culture of uploading quality enhancement and sustenance as the mantra guiding all the operations of PEC.

The membership of such nominated members shall be for a period of two years. The IQAC should meet at least once in every quarter. The quorum for the meeting shall be two-third of the total number of members. The agenda, minutes and action taken reports are to be documented with official signatures and maintained electronically in a retrievable format.
• It is necessary for the members of the IQAC to shoulder the responsibilities of generating and promoting awareness in the institution and to devote time for working out the procedural details. The institutions need to prepare quarterly the Quality Assurance Report (QAR) for future reference.The IQAC may also need to create its exclusive window tab on its institutional website for keeping the records/files of Academic auditing, Accreditation Team Reports, QAR, and Certificate of Accreditation Outcomes and regularly upload/ report on its activities.
